Men In Black 3 Movie Review

I have been a fan of this series since the very first one came out. So when I heard that they were making a 3rd one, I was so excited! And it was just as amazing as they all have been. If you had any doubts about seeing this movie because you didn't like the 2nd one, then I would still suggest seeing the 3rd one, still. The 2nd one is good, but this one is way better.

This time in the movie, Agent J (Will Smith who is brilliant as always) goes back in time to protect Agent K's (Tommy Lee Jones) life and prevent an alien attack happen.

I thought that they did a great casting job at casting Josh Brolin as the younger Tommy Lee Jones. Josh Brolin did an amazing job at acting as the younger Agent K.

I was not thrilled about seeing it in 3D because I just don't care for 3D much, but I didn't think it was that bad in this movie. I actually enjoyed it.

The alien creations were amazing as always. They even brought back some of the aliens from the older movies, which was cool and you wouldn't get that if you hadn't watched the older movies.

Now, I thought that the movie was a little slow in some parts. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie a lot, but it took a while to get into the action scenes, I thought. But it was still nicely done and there's kind of a twist at the end that you don't see coming and it makes all the other movies make sense. I thought it was a nice touch, though, to add to the movie.

Special effects were amazing! Like I said, the 3D is pretty cool, too. If I had a chance to see it in 2D, I probably would have, but I'm not disappointed that I had to see it in 3D.

When the theme music came on in the very beginning of the movie, I got even more excited and I was also happy to see that they stuck with the original theme music.

There are a few funny things in the movie, that you would miss if you haven't seen the other two.

I'm not really sure what my favorite part was in the movie. Probably the plot twist at the end. I won't give it away because like I said, it ties the whole story together, so I don't want to spoil it for anybody.

It's been a while since I've seen Will Smith in a new movie, so it was nice to see him on the big screen again. I'm a huge Will Smith fan (mainly because of these movies - I think it was because of these movies that I became a Will Smith fan). So, if you love these movies and Will Smith, you won't be disappointed! :)

Here's the trailer:

  1. Nobody was really ever praying and wishing for the third film in this series, but it wasn't all that bad. I still had plenty of fun with Will Smith and I thought James Brolin's whole impersonation/performance of Tommy Lee Jones, was spot-on and added a whole lot more comedy to the final product. Good review.

    1. You are my first ever reply on here! :) And thanks, I'm glad you liked my review. :) I thought Josh Brolin's impression of Tommy Lee Jones was spot on, too. :)
