In this episode, CIA and FBI and all the other agencies work together to figure out who broke into a high tech place and where the switch is being made.
Not a very happy episode for Covert Affairs though. A few sad things happen. But I'll get to that in a few minutes.
Annie and Simon. In Paris. Basically sums up the first 5 minutes of the show. Then we see some guy break into a place.
It's weird because it seems like everybody, or at least, Lena, is mad at Annie in this episode for some reason. Not really sure why and they don't really say, either. Weird.
It's weird that they are still getting lie detector tests. I thought that those would be done by now?
Simon unexpectedly shows up in DC! Poor Annie has to interrupt her plans with her sister to get back to work. We later find out that Simon was in DC because of his work. The guy we saw earlier on break into some place, was working with him and they made a swap.
Ok, now let's get to some of the sad stuff. Even though I do not want Auggie and Parker to be together, I still felt very sad for him in this episode. He worked really hard to try and keep it together, but in the end Parker ended up leaving. And that put Auggie in a bad state. He goes to a bar and drinks and ends up getting arrested for getting into a bar fight. :( Hopefully people realize Auggie is missing and someone will go figure out what happened. Hoping that someone is Annie. Oh and it was so sweet that he called Annie! Annie really wanted to be there with him, but she was in the middle of a job. Trying to save Simon from getting caught so it wouldn't blow her cover, but that didn't work out too well.
Either, Simon already knows who she really is or he doesn't. I'm think he knows that Annie is like with the FBI or something like that. I don't think he knows what agencies, but I think he might suspect something. Annie was let off the case, though! But she is moving back to her old job, yay! Annie is in trouble, though because she's still seeing Simon. Not sure if it's because she was sad about her sister leaving or if she just doesn't want to leave a job undone.
All in all, a great episode. A little depressing, but some happy stuff happened, too. Like Annie getting her old job back, etc. Here's the promo for the next episode (in two weeks):
