Petty Officer is gunned down in a billionaires ferrari and the team learns about Gibbs' namesake.
Pretty awesome episode! It was touching in some parts, but awesome none-the-less. :)
Petty officer is seen driving around in a ferrari at the beginning and then someone starts tailing him. Kind of looks like a cop, but no lights flashing. Tries to get away, but doesn't and ends up getting shot and that's where the team comes into play. Tony and Gibbs go to a pawn shop where the gun was bought at and then they stumble onto Gibbs' namesake because a congregational metal was sold! Then we find out it was sold by the original Leroy Jethro! Gibbs was named after him! Cool, right? I love these episodes when it focuses in on a character and we learn more about them.
Another case that takes many twists and turns. Girl who bought the gun, ended up giving the gun to her brother, Chris. But the case is never this easy, right?
Adam's House Hotel is bad karma for Tony. That's the place where his dad always stays when he's in town. LOL
Roommate is acting a little strange. He said that his friend hadn't been there for a couple days because he was bummed about failing a test.
Poor Jimmy. He and his wife had their first fight. :(
Find out that Gibbs' dad and the original LJ were best of friends, then something horrible hapened and they haven't spoken since. How sad, right? Everytime Gibbs tries to bring it up, his dad gets so mad. This time, he hung up on him! What happened between the friends?
Man, this poor kid who is getting blamed for the murder. But all of this stories never have an alibi and I didn't fully believe him.
Gibbs visiting the original LJ. Meeting goes fine until he brings up the thing between him and his dad. That's where it goes sour. Not quite as bad as it was when Gibbs was talking to his dad, but almost the same.
The original owner of the ferrari was kind of a jerk. Hitting on Abby like that. I think it took her off guard a little bit when he was trying to ask her out on a date.
What a surprise visit! Gibbs' dad comes for a visit because of the rude message Gibbs left for his dad after being hung up on. Then we find out the full story. Well, his side of it, anyways. Did not know this, but Gibbs mom killed herself because she had cancer! Gibbs knew all along. Gibbs dad blames the original LJ because his wife confided in LJ and LJ didn't bother to tell anyone. How sad, right?
Find out that Alec, Chris' roommate, is probably framing Chris.
LJ telling Gibbs his side of the story. Finally. Basically the same as his dad's, but we did find out one thing different. LJ loved Gibbs mom! Knew their falling out had to do something with a girl.
Sometimes I love the banter between Tony and Tim. Oh who am I kidding, I love it all the time, not just some of the time. It's too funny! Especially tonight. Tony's food was bad and so he goes after Tim's food! They wrestle over the food. That was too funny!
Way to go Gibbs for being the bigger person and helping the two friends reunite! Whatever he does works!
Found the bad guy and it was Alec. :)
Before Gibbs' dad left, he went to see LJ and he had somehow gotten back his congregational metal! How sweet was that? He also offered him a visit to his their own town! Whatever happened in the basement helped them and they are friends again, yay!
