Batman: Dark Knight Rises Movie Review

The Dark Knight Rises is the epic finale of the Batman series.

Taking place eight years after the Dark Knight and also Batman has disappeared. Police are also after him for the murder of Harvey Dent. Once Catwoman emerges, everything changes. Especially with a new enemy on the lose: Bane.

Christopher Nolan does it again with this amazing conclusion. To be honest, I didn't like the first Batman under his name, loved the second one and love the third one even more. So, now I'm gonna do a marathon because I was actually confused during the third one. This is your warning: If you haven't watched any of them and want to watch the third one, watch the first and the second one before hand! :)

New comer to the group is Catwoman played by the amazing Anne Hathaway. She's one of my favorite actresses and I was so excited to learn that she was gonna be Catwoman! I know that some people weren't thrilled with her being Catwoman, but I was. I knew she would do great at it and I was right! She was like the highlight of the movie. :)

Another awesome new comer was Joseph Gordon-Levitt. First time seeing him in a movie and he is a great actor! He plays John Blake. There's an awesome twist for some big Batman fans with his character, but I won't say what it was. I was kind of expecting it to happen even before it happened and how they worked it in there was just awesome! But I won't say what happens because I don't wanna spoil it for someone who hasn't seen it yet.

The only character I felt that got jipped this time around was Alfred played by Michael Caine. I always forget his in this movie and he's one of my favorite actors. He had a very, very little part in it.

Like I said above, I'm going to watch it again after I watch the first two because I felt really confused. Especially during the middle part. Of course, for a few minutes there I felt like I wasn't paying attention, either, so that probably didn't help. In other words, pay close attention, or you might get confused like I did! :)

I gotta admit though, I am not a very big fan of Batman. My favorite super hero is Superman, but after watching this third and final film by Christopher Nolan, I actually fell in love with Batman. Probably helps to have an amazing director at the wheel of the film.

It was just an awesome movie to be the last in the series. Just amazing everything. Some twists that you weren't expecting, either. Which I love it when that happens. So, enjoy watching the finale of Batman! :)
