Psych "Dead Air" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

Shawn and Gus' favorite DJ is murdered and so they get on the case to figure out who did it.

Flashback to 2009 when Shawn and Gus actually appeared on the radio show that their favorite DJ did. Not really sure why they liked him because he was just making fun of them. Now we switch to the present day, a double date (with Henry there, too, it was actually at his house) and the show comes on and Juliet doesn't understand why they like the show, either and so her and Rachel take a walk on the beach. Where Juliet finds out that Rachel has to go back home because of the deal with her green card, but Gus doesn't know it, yet.

Shawn and Gus are listening to the radio show and they hear the guy get shot! At first, they thought he was playing around, but they realize he wasn't and so they race down to the radio station.

Everybody (including me) thought it was his old partner, Dean, but that was too easy.

Shawn and Gus go on a search around the radio station and run into the radio station owner, Miranda. She has a thing (well, a big thing) for Gus. Miranda wants to fill in the DJ spot as fast as she can and so guess who decides to go on air? Shawn! I thought his show was kind of stupid, until he brings Gus in. This is when he finds out about his girlfriend having to go back home. From Shawn, on the air! Rachel calls in and they discuss it on air! Gus is not happy at Shawn at all about it, but it makes the show popular. So, guess who gets fired? Shawn! Gus gets hired and his show is popular.

Next suspect was Laura. She's a fan of both shows and she's kind of crazy (split personalities). But they figure out she's been on medicine and it isn't her. She kept telling them about this stalker Bob person. Everybody thought she was just making it up and was another personality, but there ended up being an actual Bob! A little too late, though, because he goes to Gus' house and tries to kill him! But the police arrive in time, so everything is ok.

I feel so bad for Gus. He finally finds a normal girlfriend (one that isn't wanting to kill him) and she has to leave and I'm hoping that nothing happens with their relationship, but I think he's worried about it. Since I think she is seeing her ex-husband while she's down there. Thought it was too funny that Shawn got the sound board from the radio station.
