Once again, Michael Weatherly does an excellent job as playing my favorite character, Tony Dinozo in this very Tony character episode. I love it when this show focus' in on a single character and we learn even more about them, but I especially love it when they do it with my favorite character. So, as you could imagine, I was super excited to watch this one this week.
The case is a Petty Officer gets gunned down and the team, naturally, investigates and it triggers a memory for Tony of an older case that he worked on when he was back as a police officer.
How interesting was it that the two cases ended up being linked together. But not with the killer we thought. I kind of figured (or was hoping) that it wasn't who Tony thought it was going to be. It was just very interesting how all the pieces came together.
But first my favorite character, thinks that he starts to see things because he hasn't slept for 4 days and McGee got him all worried when he was telling Tony about the side affect of losing sleep. Everybody is worried for him, though. I think his issue is that he hasn't gotten over Ziva and regretting that he didn't do anything when he had the chance. I.E. not telling her, his true feelings for her. I don't think he's the only one who misses her and I'm glad they didn't just shove the matter under the table.
Abby was just hilarious in this episode! But when is she ever not, right? I'm glad she had her time to shine a little more in this weeks episode. Sometimes I feel like we don't see enough of her. I just love the fact that she is totally jealous of Delihah. But what was even more awesome was when they later become friends or at least got along with each other now. I'm not too sure how I feel about her, though. She's still too new to the show for me to know if she will be good or not. But I guess it wouldn't surprise me if she turns out to be bad because that's what's happened to McGee before. Though I do hope they won't repeat story lines like that, but you never know.
The bad guy ended up being the bakery owner. I kind of figured that out right when Tony walked into the place the last time. But the bakery owner didn't mean for this to happen, I believe. Sorry, getting confused between this one and NCIS: LA since they both had to deal with kidnapping and I watched them back-to-back.
When everything was said and done, Tony was able to fall asleep! But at work. Not sure how he'll get teased for that but someone is likely to tease him when they come into work the next day, right?
