Castle "Like Father, Like Daughter" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

Alexis shows off her detective skills in this new episode of Castle when her friend is put on death row and she knows for a fact that he's innocent. Let me tell you, boy is she a good detective! It looks like she enjoyed it, too.

She has a really hard time going to her Dad in the first place. I think Esposito finally gave her the final push she needed. Though, Kate later admits to Lanie that she was hurt by the fact that Alexis didn't come to her about it.

The episode wasn't quite like I thought it was going to be, but it still turned out pretty awesome. The best part of all you ask? Well, to me it was when Alexis and Castle finally made up! I loved that scene! Glad she, well both of them, realized they were in the wrong.

As always, the case took many turns and even threw in some major twists there. At first, we were thinking that it was Frank's brother, John who killed Kim that night. I'm glad it didn't turn out that way, though and that it all worked out.

You'll never guess who the killer was, though! It was the officer! The one that was all rude at the beginning to Alexis. Well, he was rude because he was afraid someone would find out the truth and that someone was Alexis and her Dad! I love it when they work together.

Alexis does eventually thank Kate, though and that scene was so sweet and the fact that Castle was watching it, made it even sweeter.

But how awkward was that car ride in the beginning, right? Especially when Castle was trying to bond with Alexis and bringing up Pi and all that. She caught on and didn't want to try to fix anything. But I'm glad that this little feud between them has hopefully gone away.

All in all, it was a pretty good episode and one that I enjoyed watching. What did guys think of it? Let me know in the comments below! :)
