NCIS "Better Angels" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

I was wrong about this episode. It actually turned out to be really sweet and heartwarming. The commercials made it look like it was gonna be sadder then it was. It also had a lot of stuff that I loved that hasn't been in a while. Like the campfire! :) Who missed that? I sure did.

I was so happy when Gibbs' dad friend ended up being real! Because I was thinking he wasn't gonna be real. Especially the part where they couldn't find him at all. I don't think I was the only one who was thinking that. I was hoping he was real, but I didn't know how it was gonna all pan out. It turns out that his dad failed to mention the whole story when telling Gibbs the story and it seemed like he told it to him a lot. His friend was actually on the German side of the war that saved him!

Tony seems to be back to his normal self in this one and that's what I loved about it. Though I still miss Ziva. But it's good that he's getting back to himself. I don't think Ziva would want that for him. You sure can tell he's himself when he puts himself in charge. But little does he know that Gibbs actually wants McGee in charge! That part was hilarious!

Delilah is still in the picture. But it seems that Abby and her have really warmed up to each other and have become friends. Though it seemed like McGee wasn't too thrilled about that. It's cute, though. Because she helps Abby out on this new case. I have a funny feeling that might be bad about Delilah. I could be wrong, but I'm just keeping an open mind about her.

The case was interesting that they were working on. It all turned out to be the store owner where the guy got shot! I wasn't expecting him. But now it make sense with how he was acting. The victim was trying to help his friend that had a drug problem and his friend got back into it, so he went to his dealer to stop it and that's what happened. Poor guy. All he was doing was trying to help.

Well, Gibbs finally decides to help his dad find his friend and they eventually do and get to talk to him and Gibbs gets to meet him. We learn why it was so important that Gibbs met his friend. To let him know why it was important that he saved Jackson and what it had done and to try and not feel guilty about the other stuff he did. It was so sweet and touching. I'm glad it wasn't sad like the commercial made it look like it was gonna be.
