The Mentalist "Red Listed" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

I keep saying this, but they've really outdone themselves with this season and I have a feeling it's going to be the best season so far! I love the fact that it's getting back into the Red John story again and the suspect list keeps getting smaller. The one person I thought was gonna be Red John, ended up not being him. I was shocked about the turn out, too.

So, there's a case that Patrick and Theresa get requested to investigate. I thought it was really odd, but later, we find out that Agent Smith is suspecting that Patrick is Red John! The thought has kind of crossed my mind, but certain stuff doesn't add up. A surprising twist with Smith happens, too! After he meets up with Kirkland and Kirkland brings up the fact about the whole Red John ring (which is news as well), we learn later that Smith was also a member of the Red John ring! It was quite a shock when that came at the end.

How awesome is it seeing Wayne and Grace married? Well, they are my favorite couple, so that helps. But it's just so cute!

Madeline is dead! Or is she? I'm not sure how Patrick caught on to the fact that she wasn't dead. Maybe how she died and the fact that they never found the bodies. So, he found a very clever way to get a hold of her. Though, she was not thrilled at all about seeing him. And it was kind of her fault that Patrick went to see Kirkland and flat out told him about the fake Red John suspect list! So, guess who's next on getting kidnapped? Yep, Patrick and Kirkland is the kidnapper/killer! I was already suspecting him because of what we've seen him do before. But thank goodness that Theresa and Madeline came when they did or else Patrick would have had to have been tortured!

But the surprising twist with Smith was that when we found out that he was on the Red John team or whatever they want to call it, was when Kirkland was getting transported (looks like he got arrested - thank goodness!) to prison and the driver pulled over and Smith had a very odd conversation with Kirkland. Who ended up getting killed by Smith! The driver was in on it, too! Now we know what Tiger, Tiger means. It's the password to get into whatever this weird thing is now.

It was probably one of the most interesting and questions answered episode in a while and I quite enjoyed it. I am behind and I wanna get caught up. Especially on this show. I hear it gets even better!
