How cute was this episode?
Saw the soft side of Castle and learned that he loves babies! Kate on the other hand, not so much. But she slowly adjusts to the fact that she might like babies, too. I just loved the scene when Castle lit up when he saw the baby!
During the whole episode, it's also Thanksgiving. Which gets complicated, some what, at Castle's house. He's having it there and teases about the fact that they dress up. Kate actually believed him and dressed up and it turned out that she was the only one! However, she made the rest or at least Castle dress up. Too funny.
All cases are interesting, but this one really was. Because a mysterious man somehow wound up with a baby and rescued the baby before he was killed! Slowly, puzzle pieces fit together and we learn the truth. But it sure was a strange one! How did someone who was married, but had no kids and was really in love with his wife, have a baby all of the sudden before he died? And why did he die?
Well, let's answer those questions. First, there's a whole other case that was involved with this. Remember the lottery that Ryan was obsessed with? It had to do with the lottery girl! She was being blackmailed into fixing the lottery or else her husband and the baby (yes, the mysterious baby who was too cute!) would die! She went through with it, not knowing that Castle and Kate had the baby. They still had to find her husband, though. Which they did and I loved the family reunion at the end.
But my favorite part was probably when Castle volunteered to keep the baby until they found his real parents and they were having a hard time with him. Alexis was back! But too funny on what she walked in on. I loved her quote "How long have I been gone?" when she saw Kate and Castle with the baby. This is what made Kate realize that she didn't mind being around a baby. Castle was afraid about having a baby with her because when he had Alexis, he took care of her himself with no help.
