NCIS: LA "Iron Curtain Rising" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

Anybody else feel a different chemistry with the cast in this episode? I'm thinking it has to do with Kensi not being there and they are probably sad and don't know quite what is going on, but I missed their cheery selves. I mainly saw it in Eric. Maybe Barrett was just having an off day or maybe that was just how they were all supposed to act, but I'm not sure if it was just me or if anybody else thought that.

Anyways, enough of that, let's get to the episode. Even though I felt like the chemistry was off, they still had funny banter and such that I love. Especially when Callen and Sam were having the argument on how many times Callen saved Sam's life or vise versa.

So, the case is when they find a terrorist who is living in Los Angeles under an different name and they have to track him down before he does terrible things.

We find out what Kensi is doing. It has to do with the "White Ghost" file that Granger gave Hetty in the previous episode. Kensi is in Afghanistan to finish her mission and Granger is there as well! Not at first and no one knows he is there, too. I thought it was somewhat weird that no one knew she was coming and why she was even there. The team there, however, wasn't really welcoming. But maybe they were supposed to be that way.

Even though Kensi is gone and I really miss her being apart of the team, Nell is able to go out on the field a little more! She does again in this episode when they have to trap a guy at an apart in order to figure out what's going on. That whole scene on the plane was very funny. At first, I was thinking they were bluffing on the fact that they were flying and stuff, but they weren't. They got the guy to confess who was a CIA agent and they got John (the terrorist) as well.

The best part of the whole episode, though, was the "Hetty Bot" as Deeks called it. That was too hilarious! Especially at the end when Sam and Callen were trying to ditch it and they ended up running into the real Hetty! It was just too funny. Oh, what was also really awesome was when Deeks was looking at a picture and then we see Kensi looking at the picture, they were looking at the same pictures! They really miss each other. I hope when she gets back, that they can start something.
