Castle's dad returns and can he be trusted? That's the mystery along with a new case that has to be solved in this newest episode and his dad is somehow involved and the number one suspect of their new case.
Castle does not do well hiding stuff from loved ones, that's for sure! Because they go to some bank company and who is running it? Yep, Castle's dad! Kate has no clue because she hasn't met him officially yet and after this Castle learns some stuff and has to keep it to himself.
Why is this case so important to Castle's dad? Well, we learn that he is deep undercover in something and the guy that died was his partner in hacking into some place to get a list back that someone stole that had spy names on it.
I am so happy that Castle decided to tell Kate about it being his dad and that she finally got on board with everything. Though she was hesitant at first, but she started to believe him when his story was coming through. I did feel bad for Martha because Jackson showed up to Castle's house shot and Martha had a hard time seeing him. But at least she has closure now because of this.
Don't worry, Jackson doesn't die. But he gets Castle into trouble when Castle and Kate go do Jackson's plan to get the list. It ends badly. The guy did it as a trick to get Jackson out, but catches Castle instead. Thank goodness Jackson somehow got out and got there in time to save Castle, though. But Jackson has disappeared again. Will they ever see him again? I hope so, I like this story line. It's very intriguing. I'm glad that Jackson came back after the Alexis kidnapping last year I didn't think we'd see him again.
Ryan is back from being off with his baby! He loves being a dad and is his daughter is so cute! There is one character I've realized we haven't seen in a while. Alexis. I hope that since she moved out that this means that it won't be the last of her. I love her character and would love her to come back to the show again. Forgot to say that Castle and Kate have a set a "date" for their wedding! September! They were having a hard time and almost thought about eloping, but Castle didn't want to do that, so he just decided to do it in September, even though he has a book tour.
