First new episode of the new year and it was amazing! But it ended with one of those dreaded "To Be Continued" things. I hate those things! Especially when they leave you with a cliffhanger like they did!
But I'll get to that in a minute. The case they get this time is a guy was killed, but they don't know by what. So, they start to question the witnesses. I knew it was a drone the minute I saw the picture, so how did Tony not see that? He thought it was some alien space ship.
What makes it even weirder, is that the drone ended up being the thing that the victim was working on! So, how did it turn bad? Well, that's just what the NCIS team try to figure out.
Which leads them to this group who kidnapped Erin who ended up being involved with the victim. She was being threatened, though, because they had cameras on her husband. But they like to throw us a twist and she ends up actually being the bad guy! Kind of creepy if you ask me. She's the one who turned the drone bad.
Well, she wasn't THE bad guy, but she was helping them and I'm pretty sure it wasn't because she was being threatened. I think she was in on the group. The guy they are looking for ends up getting away at the end. However, that was not the major cliffhanger (well, it had to do with it) that I was referring to.
First, let's back it up a bit and talk about McGee and his girlfriend who has some big dinner thing that night and McGee was always trying to find an excuse not to go. But he ends up going, which I'm glad he made that choice not only for the girlfriend, but because of what happens next. Tony calls McGee to warn him about the target and it just so happens to be the building that he and his girlfriend are at! But we have no clue how badly hurt anybody is. That wasn't how it ended. Gibbs went back to the office to track down this jerk because once a bad guy messes with one of his family/team members, Gibbs is an even worse enemy to have then!
