Man, can you believe that this awesome show is at the 250th episode? I don't know if I've ever watched a show before that has lasted this long! Kind of awesome! It doesn't seem like it's gonna end any time soon, either.
The 250 episode involves Tony shooting a Navy officer all because he thought that the rankings were different? I was so relieved to learn that it was a good thing that he shot the guy. Well, not that it was good that he died, but you know what I mean. But before all of this, Tony's dad is back! He has some awesome news to tell him! What could it be? The minute he said that, I had a sneaking suspicion of what it was gonna be and I was right, but I'll get to that in a minute.
Now the story is of why Tony shot the guy, if he really did it in self defense and why the Navy officer wasn't really a Navy officer. Which, they learn that he wasn't. Odd? Very much so.
Because of this, all their Sunday plans were messed up. Ellie had a very upset husband. McGee had to cancel his plans with Delilah and Abby was at church. Ok, I know Ellie is getting hate, but I really do love her character. Sure, I miss Ziva. But Ellie is different and fun and we know for a fact that she won't be a supposed love interest for Tony and I am kind of relieved on that. Tony does need someone, but maybe a coworker isn't right for him.
We saw a lot of Abby in this episode and I loved it! I feel like lately, we haven't seen very much of her, but they made up for that in this episode. Maybe it was because of the special 250th milestone. Jimmy was seen a little more, too. I just thought it was too cute that Abby just had to great Tony's dad and give him a hug!
Coyle is the one investigating the shooting that Tony did. I remember him, but I don't remember him. It's been a long time since I've seen past episodes. But from the way everybody was acting around him and how I personally felt about him, I know our last run in (if we had previous episodes) was not a good one. Ok, I just looked it up and according to the site, we haven't see him before. But I felt with how everybody was acting, we have. He is a jerk, though. Trying to make Tony's dad be the bad guy and not remembering the full event of what happened. But he didn't even get there until right before Tony shot the guy.
The P.I. was dating the girl that worked in the Senator's office and the first guy that died was investigating the office.
Oh, the big news that Tony's dad had was that he was getting married to his wife's best friend! He wanted Tony's blessing because he knew his son was gonna react differently towards it. First, we thought that the dad was gonna marry someone much younger then him according to what Ellie and McGee saw in the hotel when they were searching the rooms. But the younger girl ended up being the daughter of his fiance! Once Tony gets over the fact that he feels like he's hurting his mom over this, he gives his dad his blessing.
