Hawaii Five-0 "Ku I Ka Pili Koko (Blood Brothers)" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

Danny and Steve get trapped in a building after a bomb goes off, thanks to some bad intel (they didn't know it was bad until it was too late). Definitely a pretty exciting episode. I really loved this episode a lot. I already mentioned it was exciting, but it had plenty of banter (which I also love) from Steve and Danny and even a heart to heart.

I kind of figured they would both get out alive. I mean, they are the main stars. Why have them die? But I guess you never know. Also, I saw some spoilers (on accident) before I watched it and I knew that they got out fine.

It was still an exciting episode and Steve and Danny have kind of heart to hearts while they are trapped down there. Poor Danny, he's the one that gets badly hurt and he doesn't like small places. So, being there does not help his case. It was cute, though, seeing how he tries to calm his nerves. Steve was pretty calm under pressure. I was surprised, too. Not sure why, but I was.

Danny is mainly the one who kind of has a break down and you know Danny, he always thinks of the worst possible idea. Like he was positive they wouldn't get out alive because they were so far down and totally blaming Steve for this, too (which he still does in later episodes, kind of funny). Poor Danny, though, he is afraid he'll mess things up with Amber. Who I didn't like at first, but now I actually do. She was really worried for Danny and came to the site as soon as she heard. Danny is gonna try his hardest to make the relationship work once they do get out, thanks to some advice from Steve.

The guy that gave them the intel feels terrible about what happened, since he didn't know and he actually tries hard to help the team get the guys out and figure out why there was a bomb to begin with. As it turns out, it was against Five-0, not the guy in jail like we all assumed! Well, I kind of figured that out before they said anything, but yeah. It totally has to do with what Steve is researching. Steve finally meets the mystery guy who is pulling those strings and this guy is creepy and not afraid to do anything to keep the truth hidden! But he won't give any info now, because he drew a weapon and so did Steve and Steve shot him in self defense and killed him! Now what is Steve gonna do? But it's Steve and you know he'll think of something.
