Person Of Interest "Allegiance" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

The team has to protect a new number that they think could possibly be a terrorist. However, I kind of figured she wasn't just because of how the show has gone lately with them and a new number. Lately, you think they are bad, but they turn out to be good only having to do bad things because they are forced. Not that that's a bad thing. I just kind of miss the way it used to be where you had no clue either way. Like when they found Elias for example. I totally thought he was good and bam, he turned out to be one of their worst enemies.

Anyways, Maria is their new number who in fact turned out to not be a terrorist, but was trying to help her boyfriend get out of confinement for being accused of doing something he didn't do. We didn't know right away that it was her boyfriend, but later on, Shaw figured it out.

Sometimes, John scares me when he does certain stuff. Like in this episode, he jumped out of a window while pushing a guy out of it and they landed on a car! How John got out of that alive and the other guy was barely alive, I have no clue, but I'm glad John didn't get hurt, seeing as he's the star. It seems like John hasn't been in too many episodes lately. I know they have other story lines going, but I miss it focusing on John and Harold. Since John is my favorite character, I don't like it when he's not in like half the show. Makes me wonder if he was filming something else at the time?

Is it bad that I still don't trust Root even though the Machine is basically controlling her actions? I just have a funny feeling that once the Machine is done with her or if something bad happens to the Machine, Root will become her crazy character self that kidnapped Harold all to get to the Machine and would do anything to do it. Which is why I was nervous when she took Bear. I'm glad he made it out alive, though. She just needed him to track the bad guy that's in charge of setting up the other Machine who was very tricky in getting away from Root, since he knows how to trick the cameras. Also, I thought for sure, that once she met up with the bad guy, that he was gonna shoot her or kidnap her or something and he didn't do a thing. Kind of surprised. All he did was ask her to come work for him! Root, thank goodness, turned him down. Of course, that might not have been the best thing for her to do.

Loved it when Maria (their number) was able to meet up with her boyfriend at the end and they met at the restaurant where Shaw's parents had a date! How sweet was that?
