Hawaii Five-0 "Makani 'Olu a Holo Mãlie (Fair Winds and Following Seas)" Episode Review

It's so sad that this is Catherine's last episode. Because I feel like we started to get to know her better in this episode and now she's gone. I'm not sure if it's her last episode period or just for a while. I'm hoping she does return, but like I said, I think it's something we will just have to wait to find out.

A family that Catherine met while she was in Afghanistan, that actually saved her life, needs help. Their son was kidnapped by some bad guys and Catherine feels like she owes them something. I thought it was awesome when Steve decided to go with her. 

It was nice that the case that the Five-0 team was working on was only the first 10 or 15 minutes of the episode and the rest focused on Catherine and Steve trying to locate her friends son. It was weird, but it was nice that the case wrapped up so quickly for the team back home.

However, it was not an easy case for Steve and Catherine. They do find the caravan of bad guys and save some other kids who had been kidnapped, but the boy they were looking for was not there. Things get even worse when Catherine has to protect the kids and watch as Steve gets kidnapped himself by the bad guys!

It was totally awesome seeing Danny be the hero in this episode. You don't see that too much. Well, Danny was the hero with a major assist from Joe, I believe, who you don't see at all in the episode. In a way, I miss Joe. Where did he end up again? Anyways, it was awesome when Danny found Steve and stayed at the hospital bed until he woke up. But Danny was the one who had to tell Steve the sad news that Catherine wasn't to be found and that she probably won't be coming back until she finds the boy they were looking for. Well, she called him to tell him the last part, but Danny is the one who told Steve they couldn't find Catherine. It's sad that she's gone, but all I can say is, thank goodness she did not die! So, there is a chance that she could very likely come back, if she wants.
