For once, I actually solved the case! Maybe not before Patrick knew, but I had a hunch who it was and I was actually right! I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing that I was able to figure out who the real murderer was so quickly on this show, since I've never been able to do it before, but it was still fun to watch how Patrick set up the plan to get the bad person to confess to the crime.
I have a feeling that Patrick at least has a hunch (like I did) from the very beginning of any case and just sets up a very elaborate plan in order to get the bad person to confess. Like his many of other plans, this plan was just as awesome.
Let's first talk about what was going on. There was a bombing that Patrick immediately said (without looking much into it) was intended for the exact person that died, to have died. How could Patrick have figured that out so quickly? Well, I've given up on trying to figure out how he thinks. It would be nice to know, but I think that's a mystery in itself. Anyways, Patrick was right (big shocker there, huh?) and so they go that way about the case and trying to figure out why someone wanted that certain someone killed.
It all led to a murderer who said he actually didn't kill this guys wife, but he is about to be put on execution and since Abbott is the guy that met with the supposed bad guy, he is going to ask Patrick for help. Since he knows if anybody can prove someone didn't do something, it'd be Patrick.
I am so happy that they were able to prove this guy didn't kill him, but like I said, Patrick had to have a very elaborate plan in order to catch the real killer. At first, we think Patrick thinks it's the husband that killed his wife and I did too. But towards the end, I realized that it was sadly, his new wife. She wanted the dead wife out of the way because she wanted him all to herself, is what I got from why she killed the wife. The plan was just awesome! See, they were working on the fire alarm and every day at 9:00am, it would go off and since the guy had to stay over night, they made it all seem like it was 9:00 the next day and even watched the supposed murderer die on TV, thanks to Wylie's help. But that was just a plan to figure out who the real killer was by watching his or her reaction. It was just awesome watching it all go down and the lady realizing that the murderer actually didn't die and that he was able to get off the hook!
It was just an awesome episode. But Theresa is still going out with Pike and Patrick is still totally jealous. Why won't he just confess that he's always liked her and be done with it? Though, I know how it ends, like I've said before, so I'm not too worried about it.
