What happened to Castle? Although, along with everybody else, I was thinking, surely he can't be dead. That'd be the end of the show. But what happened to him? Who took him?
Though none of those questions were exactly answered in the season premiere, it certainly had to be the best season premiere out of all the ones I've watched and that's saying something because most of the premieres I've watched have been excellent!
It's starts off where we left off. With Kate getting the horrible news and her rushing down to the scene of the accident. What a relief when Kate noticed there wasn't a body in the car. Of course, I knew there wasn't going to be one, but still. It was nice to have that confirmed. But where is Castle?
Wherever he is, someone makes a great deal to have him framed. First, they have a look a like of Castle (3xk perhaps?) drop off money that got the car crunched (literally), then they made it look like Castle was on the run. The only thing that bugged me is that his friends sure jumped to the conclusion fast that, maybe, the guy they knew, wasn't really the guy they knew. Even Kate started to think that. So you could imagine when they finally got some shred of evidence that all of those things was a lie, I wanted to cheer!
So yes, they do eventually find Castle who was tossed out at sea. Well, not really tossed out, but put into a boat and sent adrift. Oh and if you guys didn't pay close attention in the middle there, this is two months later! That was cool how they did the time spam and if you would have blinked, you would have totally missed it.
And poor Castle has no clue he's been gone for that long. Once they realize that the first guy they talked to at the trailer, wasn't who he said he was, they wonder, like me, what in the world happened to Castle and why? Why doesn't he remember the past 2 months and where he's been? Who took him? Was it a past enemy or a current one or a new one they have no clue about? All my theories were brought up when they were wondering what had happened to him at the beginning. The 3xk, the guy who killed Kate's mom or something to do with Castles dad, but nothings confirmed. I thought for sure at the end, we were going to get a sudden flashback of a memory he was going to have and I was a bit disappointed that we didn't. Of course, that's not to say that that won't happen. Either something terrible happened to him and he's blocking it out or someone made him forget.
