NCIS: LA "Leipei" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

For some reason, I didn't enjoy this episode. The story line didn't really grab my attention, so for the most part, I didn't really follow it and got a little lost, which is so unlike this show.

I love the fact that Nell is getting in the lime light, though and that she was able to get back into the field even after she had her first killing. Though, I think a lot of that had to do with Nate visiting and helping her out of that. But the case this week had to do with a drone strike and killed their victim. Since Nell has a lot of knowledge on drones, she was able to help with them a bunch on the case.

So, apparently the first strike of the drone won't be it's last and it wasn't the real drone to begin with. They had a much bigger drone that they wanted to figure something out with and now the team just has to find it.

They do, eventually, but not after an almost miss on Callen and the team. That part I did enjoy. Callen having to control the drone because they had lost control of it and the screen had a crack in it. It was pretty scary, especially when it came right towards them. It worked out fine, they got the bad guys and everything was ok.

What was up with that conversation with Nell and Hetty? It was nice. I love their friendship. Nell doesn't think she can become an agent like everybody else does. Like the way you are supposed to be. But Hetty told her that everybody can do something their own way. I think Nell is doing an amazing job doing it her way and I think before she knows it, she'll be out on the field. But I don't know if I want her to be a full agent. I like her working on the field and yet still being in Ops with Eric. Plus, I think Eric likes it too and would get lonely without her.
