Their new case leads them briefly to Tunisia. Where the consulate gets put under attack and someone Sam knew gets shot and killed. To gather evidence, Sam and Callen brave it there to get it.
Aside from it having a good story line and seeing how they set up the room with whatever it was that they used (which was pretty cool seeing that if you ask me), I wasn't totally into this episode. I'm not sure if I just wasn't in the mood or I just didn't like the story line or what. It was good, don't get me wrong, but maybe I was just having an off night and just didn't like it.
At first, I was thinking that Beck was going to be the bad guy, but in fact, he's the one who ended up being the true target. Which wasn't something I was suspecting. All signs pointed toward it being the Ambassador.
There was one thing I felt that was missing from this episode and could be why I partly didn't totally enjoy it. It was because I felt like there were no amazing banter with Sam and Callen that I love so much or the fact that we hardly had any Deeks and Kensi moments. Now, not all episodes have to include that, but that's one of things I enjoy the most about the show, so I felt like it just missed that.
So yeah, pretty much it on what happened during this episode. Well, they do save the day, which was good and all, but not much else.
