Joe is back! But can he be trusted? According to Steve, no and I'm gonna trust Steve on this. Sure, Joe has said he's turned a new leaf and is going to be truthful with Steve on everything, but there's just something not right here and I'm not sure what it is.
But with Joe comes one of his friends who got infected with a rare bird flu virus, which can be deadly if they don't get the vaccine in him in time. However, that's gonna be easier said then done when the body gets taken and it turns into a terrorist attack, not a kidnapping.
It was a pretty amazing episode. I've gotta say that the new year really has been good to the rest of the season, but why in the world did they have to use bees?! Yep, that's how the terrorists were going to try and bring the virus out. In the wings of the bees. But why?! I'm really afraid of bees, so that whole part of the episode was just disturbing to me to watch. I still get grossed out when I think of it.
Thank goodness Joe did what he did. Though Grover now knows where Steve got his insane thinking from. Even if Joe can't be trusted, I am glad he survived after he decided to bring the van full of bees into the water to kill it off. Smart thinking there, but not smart at the same time.
Joe gets his friend back just in time, but almost gets the virus himself. So, he is being kept in the hospital for 21 days. In a pretty nice room, I might add. Didn't even know they had those.
Even though this episode had an amazing, edge of your seat action, which the show has been lacking in lately and an amazing story line, even if they did have to use bees, it still lacked one thing I love about the show. That is, the Danny and Steve banter time. This season has already been lacking in it, so it wasn't fun for it being so intense, to not have that little reprieve from it. Maybe this is why they've been seeing the shrink? Or is the shrink thinking the banter between them isn't good and is trying to put a stop to it? I hope that's not the case, since like I said, that's one of the reasons why I love this show so much.
