Hawaii Five-0 "Wawahi Moe'uhane (Broken Dreams)" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

Well, I feel like the new year has been somewhat better to the new season. At least I enjoyed this episode a little more then the start of the new season, which has been iffy. Is this what happens when the main bad guy finally dies (i.e. Wo Fat)? I hope not. Though this show has changed with the writing, I hope they listen to us fans and realize we don't totally enjoy the new writing. It's not bad, but yeah, I'll just leave it at that and talk about the episode.

Anyways, like I said, it was a little bit better. They get to work with a PI in this episode and I actually didn't mind it. Maybe because I'm kind of into the PI thing right now, but then again, I probably wouldn't like it every week. Just once was enough. But he's in town hoping to find justice for a dad he was hired by after his daughter is found murdered and they don't know why.

It all led to a dance place she worked at, which was actually a front for a prostitution ring. Even though the lady denied it was actually that, it was so that, no one could never pin anything on her to shut her down, until now.

The poor daughter was mainly just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Brooke saw the guy she was with, murdered and the lady that owned the dance place told the murderer that he wasn't alone and it went from there. It ended up being the dad of the girl that liked the guy that was seeing Brooke, but the dad didn't like the guy because of him being a cheater and such and didn't want his daughter to learn all that about him and so he decided to put a stop to it himself.

Jerry is totally funny. Trying to get a job by lying. Not the best way to get a job and it wasn't, since it didn't work. He ended up getting a job at Kamekona's flipping signs!

So not a bad episode, but not great now that I think about it, either. I'll keep watching, though, until the end, which I hope isn't soon. Though with how shows are getting cancelled left and right, right now, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened here. But if it does, I hope they get a proper send off. That's all I ask for.
