NCIS: LA "Forest For The Trees" Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

The minute Sam and Callen awoke in the place that they were held captive in, I felt like it was a bit too easy for them to get out. Maybe I was hoping for a full on intense kidnapping, but it wasn't like that at all. It wasn't until the very end, when they realized that the person who was accompanying them, wasn't who they said they were.

It was exciting, though, at the end, when they realized that this guy wanted to kill Sam and Callen, but thanks to Sam having been to the place the bad guy said he worked at few days before, Sam knew the guy was a fraud because of something the bad guy said about the building. From there, Callen called back to ops and filled them in on what was going on.

It was all because of a meeting that Granger had set up with a guy to question him, to make him feel safe. But because Callen and Sam were able to let them know that the first place was comprised, they were able to move the location. So, the place you think the bad guys are barging in on, isn't actually the place. I thought that they were for sure gone in that scene until they revealed that, that wasn't the case at all.

It was a surprise at the end to learn all those details. That Sam and Callen knew the whole time the guy they were with was bad, but I just wasn't fully into this one like I've been in the past. But like I said about the last review, not all episodes have to be all exciting all the time, but I was just thinking it was gonna be different then it actually was, was all.
