Am I the only one who felt like this episode was bit predictable? I mean, it was a surprise that Arkady was back and I was hoping that it would involve more with Callen and his background story, but sadly, it didn't. However, when we thought Arkady had "died", I just wasn't surprised when he showed up hours later asking for Sam and Callen for help.
Don't get me wrong, it was an interesting and fun episode, but still, I felt like for me, at least, it was a bit predictable. Which is odd, seeing as I never, ever am right when I predict a show out. Ok, that's a little wrong. Sometimes I am right, most of the time, I'm wrong, though.
Did I miss something? I feel like they never revealed what Eric found who the bad guy was supposed to be and I thought it was going to be this big revealing. Either they did and I missed it, or they didn't tell us right or something. I just felt with how Eric looked, it should have come as a surprise. But I feel like I missed something with that whole scene or I just wasn't paying attention in that moment.
It is nice to see that the relationship between Callen and Joelle is still going. Though it looks like it's a little rocky, still, since Joelle hasn't gotten quite used to the real Callen, but it's nice that they are trying to make it work. Seeing him in a relationship is a bit odd, but nice at the same time. Next, he just needs to actually get stuff in his house so it looks like he lives there. I agree with Sam on his statement on that.
I also knew that the boat was a big part of this. When Arkady first heard about it, you knew something was up with it, even if he was being shady about it. The only person who could actually get answers out of him was Hetty. Since he's like scared to death of that lady. I guess I don't blame him, but still. It all had to do with a brother/sister company that was dealing with the oil ship that is now missing. No one has any idea where it is at. Now that can't be a good thing. But according to Arkady, the bad guy was actually after the brother/sister company since that's who he shot, but I don't know if that's true. Plus, there's the whole Hetty not thinking this ordeal is over yet. She's hardly ever wrong, so I won't be surprised if we see Arkady or this storyline brought back soon.
