Dancing With The Stars: The Winner!

*Major Spoilers*

Well, after 10 weeks in season 20, the new champion has been announced tonight and I couldn't be more thrilled for the couple! Riker was my favorite, but I was predicting this outcome, so I'm not totally surprised. Val has been my favorite teacher since I first started watching this show. He's been on for 8 seasons and never won and he finally did with a dance partner who's never had any dance experience. 

But after last night, it was anyone's game. Even though I had a slight prediction on who might win, I knew anything could go. The freestyles are normally the game changer and I think that's what hit it on the spot for the winners. Sometimes big and showy freestyles win, but if you can't pull that off and know it, it's just safe to strip it down and do it safe. That's happened in the past and it proved to be what Rumer and Val needed in order to win.
