When I first started this episode, I thought it was going to be a bit dumb. Really? Eric getting chosen for running for Senate? But man, was I mad when we found out that it was all a big trick. That Eric was the underdog expecting to lose so the other guy could win again.
Oddly enough though, this turned out to be one of my favorite episodes. Mainly because they threw in a surprise guest and one I didn't know was even coming. Well, I guess that's why they call it a surprise. But who knew that T.J., the stranger in the coffee shop, would actually have ended up being Tommy!
Remember him? What was even more awesome is when they decided to throw in flashback episodes with Tommy, as a little boy, back in BMW days. Man, shows hardly ever get to me, but this episode almost had me in tears and then by the end I couldn't stop smiling. I'm glad I watched it alone because I'm sure I looked like a dork.
I hope they give us another episode of this storyline to let us know how things turned out, but it looked like Eric might be winning after that introduction of Tommy and proving everybody wrong that having little kids help you with something, might actually be a good thing. Kids have a voice too.
