NCIS: New Orleans "Sic Semper Tyrannis" Season Premiere Episode Review

*Review contains spoilers, so read at your own risk!*

With no cliffhanger last season, I wasn't totally looking forward to watching the show, I mean I would, but I just wasn't sure what they were going to do with it. However, the minute it started, the minute I remembered how much I loved the cast and it got even better with their newest addition to the family: Sonja.

Sonja worked a couple of cases with Chris a few episodes ago and then at that end of the season, Pride loved her so much that he wanted her to join the team. I wasn't sure how it was going to work out, but the minute I saw her on screen with them all, I knew she was going to fit in just fine. She's the new probie if you will, so let the teasing begin! Which I was totally reminded of the original NCIS when that started and I couldn't have been more thrilled.

Brodie just got even better. A new hair cut (which looks super cute on her and was it just me or did she look pregnant?) and to find out that not only does she speak different languages, she also knows sign language! Total Abby flashback moment there! Love it when they throw those awesome little things into this show to make me love it even more. But who's sending those weird pictures to her? I think that's a possible story line brewing there for the future.

Pride ends up having to go undercover to a creepy cult place when a military vehicle gets attacked. I did not expect the events to take place like the did. Talk about a twist! The leader this group of people  thought they were doing stuff for, had been dead a whole year! How they couldn't have smelled a dead body rotting in their own yard is beyond me, but who really is in charge? It ended up being Darla, the girlfriend. Or so we think. Zed is still on the run and now has put a bounty on Pride. Who's like Gibbs, you don't want to mess with him and anybody who goes up against him, is just asking for trouble.

Pride has a whole bunch of money that he's getting rid of in the coolest ways. Like to Loretta for Danny's college fund (hope we see that guy again soon). But what is he gonna do with his share? Well, buy a bar of course. Here's to new beginnings.

  1. Why not also post this with the other reviews of NCIS:NO? It would fit in beautifully.
