Girl Meets Texas Part 3 Review

Even though this conclusion had no actual conclusion to the storyline forming, I oddly enough, enjoyed how they decided to leave it for now. Yes, I would have loved to have had it actually end and know for sure and we may still get that, but one things for sure. Nothing will shake Maya and Riley's friendship and I think they both need to go through this in order to realize that. Remember, Shawn and Cory went through plenty of stuff like this only to come out stronger in the end.

I'm glad Maya and Lucas' date was just as awkward as Lucas and Riley. I don't know how I would have felt if they had hit it off and played it off as something so natural to them both.

There was a twist I didn't see coming. Charlie. He's come back to try to win over Riley. I immediately  was reminded of when Cory met Lauren and was having to choose between her or Topagna. Remember that? I wonder if this might be the same issue with Riley. If going out with Charlie will help her realize she has true feelings for Lucas.

As for how Maya feels, I'm with Farkle. I don't know. I don't think she knows herself. I think Lucas is just one of those boys who is a likable guy and I totally know where they are coming from. I'm glad that Farkle hasn't come in the middle of all this. That he and Zay can be the outsiders and try to figure out what's really going on.

Farkle showed that when he let Riley realize her true feelings. No, she doesn't love Lucas as just a brother. She's doing what Maya did in the beginning. Letting her friend figure out what's going on before she can admit her feelings. Which are, that she likes Lucas! Lucas obviously likes Riley. I think in the end, Lucas and Maya will end up just being good friends. Or again, that could just be my wishful thinking. I did read that the writers have said "The story has been clear from the beginning". Not sure if that means Maya and Riley together forever or if Lucas will join in or what. But like Riley, I'm going to have hope in the writers and I'm sure they won't let us down.
