Supergirl "Worlds Finest" Episode Review

From the minute they announced the crossover episode, I knew I was going to love it. I've already fallen in love with Supergirl and I've been a fan of The Flash for a few months now and I knew this was going to be a hit. It blew me away!

I was so sad when Barry had to leave. Well, I knew it would eventually happen. This world isn't made for him, but still, I hope he comes back again soon. Melissa and Grant played off of each other very well and thanks to Barry, Kara did the one thing she was afraid of since the beginning.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. It was a bit confusing, since I myself don't quite understand how the whole "many earth" things work. Maybe it's because I haven't been able to catch up on The Flash. Though I knew Barry tried to explain it and Winn seemed to love the fact that something he has thought of exists, but still, I was completely lost. All I know is that this world that Kara is in, is the one that Barry doesn't exist in. Nice to know that other worlds have their own superheroes.

Now that Barry somehow managed to get to this world, he has to figure out a way to get back home. However, if he didn't come when he did I'm not sure what would have happened to Kara. Ok, I know not much would have happened if she would have landed on the ground, but she looked pretty knocked out to me after that blast from the silver banshee.

Yep, Siobhan has learned what her true calling is. That she's been cursed. Instead of freaking out about being cursed like I thought she would be, she actually embraces it and thinks "Hey, now I can destroy the one thing I hate, Kara.". But to do that, she has to hook up with an old buddy of Supergirl's since she think's Supergirl is Kara's own personal bodyguard.

Well, little does she know that they are actually the same person and Kara has her own little surprise guest in the mix. Someone who's the fastest man alive and thanks to him, was able to stop the screaming from Siobhan from hurting their hears.

It would have been awesome if this earth was the same earth that Barry came from. Could you imagine them actually knowing who each other were just because of the news they'd receive? I can totally see the whole team hooking up and having a great time. I hope they get on that!

In the end, they do defeat Live Wire (once again) and Silver Banshee and Kara wins back National City! I knew it would be fast and I'm glad it happened, but in a way, I was hoping it wasn't going to be that fast. Though with the talk Barry was doing, I kind of figured something was bound to happen towards the end with that. Kara redeemed herself. Something she's been trying to do for weeks.

Barry helped her more then once. Cat is very observant. I'm sure she hasn't forgotten that perhaps Supergirl and Kara are the same person. If she can quickly put together that Barry and The Flash were the same person, then they shouldn't think that secret is gone forever with their cover up. She's too smart for that.  Everybody has noticed the tension between James and Kara. Well, more like jealously especially now that Barry and Kara were "flirting" with each other. This was just the little push Kara needed, though. To make her move on James by kissing him!

Too bad Non had to interrupt it! Seriously? I guess I should have seen something like that coming. A story like this won't be that easy to come to. I've watched TV long enough to know that. Still, I was mad that they couldn't have at least a little happy moment before that mind controlling thing turned on or whatever it is. It was awful, but so something like Non would do. Let's just hope they can stop him in time.
