NCIS: LA "Granger, O" Episode Review

It annoys me when an episode looks really good and sounds good, but it ends up not being what I expected at all. I was actually disappointed with this episode. I thought it was going to be way different then it actually was and I felt like it was boring compared to other episodes this season.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a terrible episode, it just was a lot different then I thought it was going to be. It was interesting to learn that Granger had a daughter, Jennifer, the girl he was escorting to LA to help track down some bad men, but I felt like it lacked something in this episode.

Aside from that, I loved the basketball game at the beginning. It's always awesome seeing the team hang out together before or after a case. This episode also had plenty of Deeks and Kensi arguments and Sam and Callen "discussions". When will Sam ever give it a rest that Callen won't buy furniture though? That's just not who he is. It is odd, but still if Callen doesn't want furniture, he shouldn't buy it.

Deeks and Kensi talk wedding plans! No, he hasn't proposed to her, though I hope that we see that in the very near future. But it was cute hearing them discuss what type of wedding they would have. I hope we get to see it whenever it happens!

So, their new case involves a list a bad guys that have been smuggled into the US under fake passports. Jennifer was going to be the one to kill those bad guys, but now that Granger has her, they sent someone else to take care of them. There's a twist, though. One of the guys on the list, is actually in charge of the whole operation and was only smoking out Jennifer!

It was nice to see that at the end of all this, since I didn't totally trust Jennifer the whole time, that her and Granger did make up and can finally be friends. Yeah, I didn't trust Jennifer at all. I was thinking that when she asked Granger for a gun, that she was going to turn on him. But glad to know that wasn't the case at all. She actually had his back the whole time and oddly enough, I think that's what helped mend their relationship.
