Scorpion "Maroon 8" Episode Recap

Just shortly after Toby and Happy's happy wedding day, they crash on a deserted island.

I believe that if any team can survive and get off an island, it'd be this one. But towards the end there, it looks like they were ready to tear each other apart. Being on an island without alone time must be getting to them. But I'm getting a head of myself, so let's back up a bit.

Cabe gets a new job offer. One that seems like it could be pretty romantic for the newlyweds and not to mention the new couple: Waige! I couldn't stop smiling at the end of last weeks episode when Walter finally was brave enough and told Paige what he's been wanting to tell her since he met her.

But things go haywire when their plane starts to crash. Was it sabotage or purely by accident? This close to the season finale, I'm thinking it was more sabotage then anything else.

Once they finally save Scotty from dying, things don't get much better. Toby is learning all this new stuff about Happy which he doesn't seem to enjoy too much. I'm not sure why, though. I don't know if it's just a shock to him to know that he didn't know her as well as he thought he did or if he's just upset that she kept all this stuff from him. I think it's cute that Happy is opening up more.

Speaking of cute. How cute is Walter now that he has let love into his life and allowed it to show? Sure, Walter isn't acting like himself, but he's feeling things he hasn't before and he doesn't know how to show it. Paige is the perfect girlfriend to finally realize that what she said to him about toning down all the cheesy romantic stuff, was rude and that she just needs to realize too that, this is just what Walter does. It may be hard, but I think they can survive. Or can they?

The only person that kind of got on my nerves, was Sly. Who hardly ever gets on my nerves. I think Sly has never felt this kind of adrenaline, and it sure is a rush, that I don't think his body knew what to do once it kicked in so he was acting, in a way, fearless. But not anymore. There is a fine line between genius and insanity and I think Sly might be sadly going off the deep end.

I had accidentally seen a spoiler, so I knew that they weren't getting off the island when they first saw the ship. So, it was no surprise to see the "3 weeks later" line come up. Glad to know Scotty is doing well. He might be the only one. Happy and Toby seem to be getting on each others nerves. But who doesn't love Toby's water puns? Of course, probably hearing them 24/7 may get annoying. I'm hoping this is all just the island talking, though. Walter seems to be doing ok, but Paige is starting to get annoyed at him, too. Ralph seems ok. Cabe seems like he's in shock or something since he's still standing at the waters edge. Then poor Sly. I'm surprised no one has gone to figure out what's going on with him or tried to help him. Sly truly is going insane stuck in the bunker. Must be hard to be him in that situation knowing when people will start to die off. Poor guy.
