A new demon is on the attack and the Shadowhunters are scrambling to put him to a stop.
Who else felt bad for Magnus throughout the whole episode? I knew that something was wrong with him the minute all that weird stuff happened in the previous episode. But no one caught up on it. Well, they kind of did, but they just brushed it off that he used too much magic. I'm not totally sure what the plan was with switching bodies, either.
I'm not sure how I feel about Clary wanting to be tested. Personally, I think she was just worried about why her powers weren't working again. But at the end, I think Sebastian got through to her and made her realize it's because of all the pain she's having to deal with. That she hasn't totally dealt with it and that she needs to in order for her power to work again. But who didn't love that fight scene with Clary and Jace? It was pretty epic and I love seeing him use his powers.
It's a love/hate relationship with Alec for me. One minute, I like what he does, but the next minute, I don't. I don't get why he just always seems to fight with himself over doing what's right. He knew something was off with Valentine and I think deep down he knew that what Valentine was saying was right. That he was in fact Magnus. But to almost go ahead and kill him, I just couldn't believe it.
In the end, Magnus finally gets back to his normal body. Thank goodness since Alec pretty much destroyed the first way they could get him back to normal in the beginning.
I just loved all the Simon and Izzy moments! We are finally getting those! Ok, it's only been 2 seasons. But for those who've read the books, I'm sure you are in the same boat as me that it's been a long time coming. But still, I loved those scenes the best out of the episode.
Ok, I guess I either forgot that Jace officially meets his grandmother or I just haven't gotten to that point. But either way, that scene was amazingly sweet and finally something good for Jace for once. He needed a happy moment.
