Suits "Skin In The Game" (Season Premiere) Episode Recap

I can tell this is going to be the season of change and it's only the first episode, but so much has changed already. But some are more willing to accept that then others.

With Jessica gone, Harvey is not ready to fill that spot yet. Though he clearly is the perfect one to be the boss. He's changed so much since the show first started. He used to be so arrogant and ok, now he still is kind of, but he's not so bad anymore. Either that or I've just gotten used to him.

I really liked Jessica. I mean, you don't see very many lady bosses around and how tough she was was amazing, but there was one thing that always bugged me about her. That no matter what Louis did, she never included him in anything and that's all he ever wanted. I think that's why he acts out like he does. Ok, not very mature, but when you get overlooked your whole life, it kind of starts to build up and just comes out. I just always felt bad for him, until he did something so Louis that made me think otherwise.

Like I was saying though, I think Harvey will be better at that thing. Where he will hear other peoples sides and then make a decision. He already did that in this episode. Though it took some time for him to come around, it seems to me that he finally is willing to accept that he's in charge. He knew that telling Louis that he decided to finally step up, was going to hurt Louis and of course Harvey didn't want to do it, but he finally did it and I am so happy!

Not sure how I feel about Harvey and his therapist going out. Yes, it's nice to see that Harvey is finally giving that side of him a chance, but at the same time, I am huge Harvey and Donna shipper that I just don't like seeing him with other people. I just know that that whenever or if ever that couple does get together, it probably would be the end of the show and so I may never want it to happen. Donna has already said she doesn't want to mix business with pleasure.

So nice to have Mike back where he belongs. I realized how much I missed seeing Harvey and Mike together. They are such an amazing team and one of the reasons why I love the show so much. It'll be so weird to see Mike in Harvey's office, but it's about time that Mike gets something like this.

Poor Louis, I know he wants to burry himself in the work, but that's not good when he has such an anger issue. I'm really surprised that no one lashed back at him and make him take anger management classes or something. Because what he said to his employees was totally uncalled for. I'm glad Donna was there to pick up the pieces and he finally realized what a jerk he's been. Yes, I can see why Louis may need closure, but with him, I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

Oh Donna, you are such an awesome character. It's about time she's gotten noticed for her hard work. I'm so glad she finally stood up to Harvey. Being partner without being a lawyer may not be the best thing to do, but she deserved something. Um...I wonder if this means Mike will get his own secretary?
